Petrosal Sinus Sampling for Cushing's Disease Evaluation |
It is often difficult to determine whether a patient has Cushing's disease or ectopic production of ACTH. Petrosal sinus, jugular vein and vena cava sampling can help lateralize a tumor and determine whether or not pituitary dysfunction exists.
