Biography

David Bissonette joined the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh in 1975.

He holds an MBA degree from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He also received a BA degree in zoology from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1973 and a BS in community and allied health resources (Physician Assistant) from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1975.

Bissonette has published 44 articles in refereed journals, and seven book chapters. He currently serves as executive administrator of the Department of Neurological Surgery.
