Biography
Daniel M. Bursick, MD, is chief of the division of neurosurgery at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Bursick's clinical interests include neurosurgical trauma, brain stem injuries, spinal neurosurgery, and the surgical treatment of pain.
He received his medical degree from the M.S. Hershey School of Medicine at Pennsylvania State University in Hershey, completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and received postgraduate fellowship training in neurosurgery at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases in London. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
