Biography

Alessandro Paluzzi, MD, joined the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery as a clinical skull base fellow in 2010.

After receiving his medical degree from the University of Padova Medical School in Italy, he moved to the United Kingdom where he completed a three-year surgical training program (MRCS) and received a master of science degree in surgical technology at Imperial College London by Professor Lord Ara Darzi.

Dr. Paluzzi completed his residency program in neurological surgery at Newcastle General Hospital in the United Kingdom and a research fellowship in functional neurosurgery with Tipu Aziz, FRCS(SN), DMedSci at Charing Cross Hospital in London.
