Biography
Dr. Mohamed Hafez Ramadan joined the department as an adjunct professor in the fall of 2006. He is originally from Cairo, Egypt where he serves as a professor of neurosurgery at Cairo University. He has trained in Denmark and has received scholarships from Showa University in Tokyo, Japan and from Mainz University in Mainz, Germany.
He currently sits on the executive committee of the World Spine Society of the WFNS (World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies) and is an adviser to the Middle East Neurosurgical Society.
His current research interest is in spinal surgery and he is assisting in the development of the Spine Biomechanics Research Laboratory.
He has published 25 peer reviewed articles.
