Pittsburgh, January 15, 2004 -- The 2003 Department of Neurological Surgery Annual Report received "best of category" recognition in the 38th Annual Exhibition of Western Pennsylvania printing awards. The publication received the top award in the "Four color cover; one, two or three color inside" category.

The awards are sponsored by the Printing Industry of Western Pennsylvania and recognize "excellence of achievement, effort and talent" for productions in the advertising, marketing and public relations fields. This is the fourth year the publication has won a design award.

The Department of Neurological Surgery Annual Report is a comprehensive 188-page publication showcasing the activities of the department and its faculty for the the year ending June 30, 2003. The publication contains complete biographical information on faculty and residents and details all grants and teaching activities ongoing at the department.
