Pittsburgh, September 12, 2007 -- Paolo Cappabianca, MD, professor and chairman of the Department of Neurological Sciences at the Universita degli Studi di Napoli Federico II in Napoli, Italy, presented a lecture entitled "Ten Years with Endoscopic Transsphenoidal Surgery in Naples," September 11, as part of the department's on-going visiting professor lecture series.

In addition to his main lecture, Dr. Cappabianca -- an international authority on endoscopic skull base surgery -- participated in the department's journal club and resident's case conference. He also was the featured guest at a reception and dinner later in the evening where he gave a second lecture, "Endoscopic Surgery of the Skull Base: The Evolving Role of the Endoscope."
