Pittsburgh, June 7, 2007 -- Volker K.H. Sonntag, MD, professor of clinical surgery at the University of Arizona and the vice-chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, presented a lecture entitled "History of Instrumentation of the Cervical Spine," June 6, as part of the department's on-going visiting professor lecture series.

In addition to his lecture, Dr. Sonntag participated in the department's conferences throughout the day and was the featured guest at a reception and dinner later in the evening at the Fox Chapel Golf Club where he also presented a second lecture entitled “Management of Bilateral Locked Facets."
