IMPORTANT NOTE: On April 2, 2007, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) began a major, 20-month long, reconstruction project involving the Boulevard of the Allies corridor on the western section of Oakland. This project will have a major impact on traffic entering and leaving the UPMC Presbyterian area from the west, south and north. Please visit the construction website for details, updates and detour information. PennDOT expects to complete the reconstruction phase of the project by November 2008.
