Project Summary:

The primary hypothesis for this application is for a multicenter Phase III Randomized Clinical Trial (RCT) to induce moderate HYPO (32-33oC) after severe TBI in children and maintained for 48 hours will imporve mortality and 3, 6 and 12 mos functional outcomes in children as assessed by the Glasgow Outcome Scale-Extended (GOS/GOS-E).
