Pittsburgh, July 4, 2026 — The Brain Aneurysm Foundation will hold its annual Pittsburgh Run/Walk on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at North Shore Riverfront Park, bringing together survivors, families, and supporters to raise awareness of brain aneurysms and support research.
The event aligns with the cerebrovascular care and research mission of the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery, whose faculty treat brain aneurysms and other neurovascular conditions. Recognizing the warning signs of a brain aneurysm and seeking prompt evaluation can be critical to patient outcomes.
Registration opens at 8:00 AM, with the run starting at 9:00 AM and the walk at 9:15 AM. Registration is $40 for participants 18 and older, and free for children. Participants who fundraise a minimum of $100 by July 16, 2026, will receive an event t-shirt.
