UPMC AnywhereCare gives patients 24/7 access to health care providers online using a computer or mobile device. Coughs, colds, allergies — anything that's keeping you from being at your best. UPMC AnywhereCare gives patients with non-emergency symptoms the chance to get the quality care they need online quickly. Anytime. Anywhere.
Patients use video to connect face-to-face with an online UPMC provider* and receive a personal diagnosis and treatment plan, if necessary.
No traffic or parking hassles and no waiting to schedule an appointment. Instead, patients can speak with a health care professional using a secure, high-quality streaming video. And, if needed, UPMC can send prescriptions directly to your pharmacy.
COVID-19 Note: If you feel you may have symptoms related to COVID-19, you can call your primary care doctor or use UPMC AnywhereCare. A video visit from home limits the spread of infection, and if needed, UPMC can guide you safely to the next care site. (View AnywhereCare COVID-19 FAQ). If you are experiencing severe symptoms such as trouble breathing, you should visit an emergency department in your community immediately. If you can, call ahead of your arrivial so ER care providers can prepare for your arrival and prevent the spread of any illness, but do not delay if you have severe breathing problems.
The cost of a UPMC AnywhereCare visit is normally $59 (or less, depending on your insurance provider), however, UPMC Health Plan is waiving member cost-sharing for AnywhereCare visits through June 15, including deductibles or co-payments for most members. Prescriptions, if needed, must be paid for separately by the patient.
(*Patients located in Pennsylvania at the time of the service will have a virtual visit with a UPMC-employed provider. Patients outside of Pennsylvania will receive care from a provider employed or contracted by Online Care Network II, P.C. (OCG). OCG is not an affiliate of UPMC.)
