Pittsburgh, May 11, 2023 -- Prateek Agarwal, MD, third-year resident with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery, has been selected as a Council of State Neurological Societies (CSNS) Socioeconomic Fellow for 203-24.
The fellowship provides an educational opportunity for neurosurgical residents to gain a better understanding of socioeconomic issues impacting neurosurgery, including healthcare policy, governmental regulations, practice management, insurance requirements and communication skill development.
The CSNS is composed of members of various state neurosurgical societies organized with the goal of providing a national forum for discussing socioeconomic issues and serving as a resource and advocate for patients and the profession.
