Adult Neuropsychology Fellowship

The UPMC Adult Neuropsychology Fellowship in Neurological Surgery is a two-year, APPCN-member postdoctoral program designed to provide advanced clinical, academic, and research training to prepare fellows for licensure and board certification in clinical neuropsychology. Fellows develop expertise in neuropsychological assessment, consultation, and the integration of cognitive data into neurosurgical and neurological care. The fellowship offers exposure to a wide range of adult patients with conditions such as brain tumors, epilepsy, movement disorders, normal pressure hydrocephalus, cerebrovascular disease, and traumatic brain injury. The fellowship is predominantly focused on outpatient care, but inpatient and intraoperative assessment are available. Fellows spend approximately 80% of their time in direct clinical service and 20% in research, supervision, and didactics. Training emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, scholarly productivity, and professional development within an inclusive environment that values diversity, equity, and representation in neuropsychology.
