Pittsburgh, November 11, 2022 -- Kristen Thompson, PA-C, physician assistant with the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery, has been recognized as the UPMC 2022 Advanced Practice Provider of the Year. Kristen was chosen from over 4,000 APPs across the health center for this honor.

Pollack, MD, Leland Albright Professor and chief of pediatric neurosurgery at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, said "We are so fortunate to have an amazing group of talented APPs in CHP Neurosurgery, and to have Kristen supervising the team.
