Sarah Tappe, CRNP

Sarah joined the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery in October of 2022 as a nurse practitioner. Prior to her nursing training she completed a bachelor of science degree in neuroscience at Westminster College in 2014. She completed her RN training through UPMC Shadyside School of Nursing in 2017, a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Ohio University in 2018, and a master of science in nursing at Carlow University in 2022.

Sarah has a special interest in neurological conditions and is excited to evaluate and treat patients while collaborating with neurologists, pain management, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians. 

Specialized Areas of Interest

Minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spine disorders, spinal stabilization, peripheral nerve disorders, and neuro-oncology.
